Four weeks. Four levels. One look a week, each one harder than the last. Do as many as you can and the best artist of the lot takes home the Epic Nightmare Mystery Box.

The prize
One winner takes the whole thing. It is the biggest box we have ever put together!
Start easy. Finish unrecognisable.
Every week is a different level, and any character you like at that level counts. The characters listed on each card are only there in case you are stuck. Ignore them completely if you already know what you are doing.
Thu 1 – Wed 7 Oct
Subtle makeup with a touch of spooky. Barely a costume. This is the one you could wear to work and still get a second look. Any Sexy character counts.

Just enough to make 'em look twice. Paint plus one thing that is off. This is the Halloween most people picture. Any Creepy character counts.

Darker, deeper, scarier. Same paint, a lot more of it. Heavy shadow work, or your first go at a prosthetic. Any Sinister character counts.

No limits. Go all out. Full kit, everything you have. Latex, prosthetics, blood, lenses, the lot. Anything goes, as long as it is extreme.

Week four closes a day early, on Tuesday 27 October, so we have the Wednesday to judge everything and get the prize couriered out.

Blending, edges, how clean the work is for the level you went for. We are not comparing a Sexy look to a Nightmare one.
